Product Overview

The Series FDC 820 and FDC 830 Vertical Rod Panic Exit Devices are designed to deliver safe, code-compliant emergency egress for commercial, institutional, and industrial facilities. Built to Grade 1 standards and UL/ULC listed, these devices are available with a 3-hour fire rating for use on fire-rated doors.

The FDC 820 is ideal for 28” to 36” wide doors, while the FDC 830 fits 36” to 48” doors, making this series versatile for multiple door sizes. Each device features Pullman latch bolts at the top and bottom for secure locking, an adjustable strike with slotted holes for precision fit, and a 2-¾” backset.

Tested to over 1,000,000 cycles, the FDC 820/830 series is engineered for high-traffic environments where durability, reliability, and safety are non-negotiable.
